Because he's in on it.
No, he's thinking, "What the f**k did I do to draw this detail?"

Yep.

Recall David Gregory waving around a 30-round mag on "Meet the Press" and DC Chief Cathy Lanier declining to charge him after a clamor erupted?

Some are simply more equal than others.

"Accurate shooting without missiles!" Ghost gun. Wow, never heard of it. Makes me wish for my Mattel Sonic Blaster. Dang, that was a great toy.

Hi Folks,

A couple of points:

1. Before I found this place, that feller with the bad haircut is what I thought of when I thought "liberal". The very thought of someone like that senator belonging to a gun forum is something I had to see for myself.

Come to find out, I was lumping you all in a group and I apologize for that. Still, ya'll gotta' rein in folks like this. He's the poster child for Liberalism, like it or not. He's the greatest fear of Conservatives everywhere. He is why I thought I had to be conservative (sorta'... depends on whether we're talking my daughter or your daughter here...) to support guns.

Turns out I'm neither.

2. Anyone ever study micro-expressions? Watch the cop, then watch again in slow motion.

When the real stupidity starts, the cop's eyes wander over to the senator, his mouth drops open just a bit more, and his whole face sort of droops.

The aide (or whomever) behind bad-haircut-senator-guy has a few less-well-hidden expressions before that black squirrel on the good senator's head moves over to block him out.

Regards,

Josh

Mazel Tov, Josh! You have gained wisdom. Actually that putz is a prime example of authoritarian, something I abhor be it in a right or left stripe since it is the same animal; the "I know what's best for you better than you do" bunch. The Yippies of the 60's promoted the saying "Question Authority". I take that to heart and I question anyone who sets themselves up as the authority. Curse my liberal education and too many issues of MAD magazine and Rocky & Bullwinkle episodes. ;)

that's my 2 cents. your mileage may vary.

He's just throwing out scary sounding buzzwords without sense or reason, I can almost imagine the PR meeting his staff had.

The guy is crazy but the AR makes a very good DMR platform in .223 and even better in .308. Here is my semi auto precision rifle set up.

More fearmongering about "ghost guns."

That’s the sort of future Scruggs doesn’t want to see. Texas Gun Sense’s focus for the next legislative session is working toward universal background checks, Scruggs said, but they would favor more regulation for homemade weapons.

"I hate to think where it could go in the future but I'm very terrified if we do nothing and let it continue on the path that it's on, who knows what we'll end up with,” Scruggs said.

I wish our intrepid journalists would go the extra step and discover that you don't need a $1500 Defense Distributed CNC mill to finish an 80% lower. 80% easy jigs are available for $150. But of course, your typical Raven-25 may cost less than half the price of the easy jig.
