Oooh, the stupid really burns on that one. Although, I am impressed at how many ridiculous things he managed to cram in his 30 second statement ('ghost gun', clip, 'bullets', etc, however he did forget to add 'the children'.).
Obviously designed for maximum outrage factor.

The Swiss are the lovers
The French are the mechanics
The Italians make everything run on time
And the Germans are the police

I think his speech writer needs to do a bit more research before handing him his script. 30 magazine clips in half a second. DAAYYUMMM!!! That's some firepower there! Of course, a magazine is not a clip and a clip is not a magazine and they aren't interchangeable -- nor are they used in conjunction with one another --- but hey, it's a good theory he's got...a good theory to make him look like a dipshidiot.
First of all, let's call it what it really is...It's not a gun buy-back, because the government never owned them. It's a gun turn in.

Wtf is an "automatic sniper" rifle? How the hell is an AR a sniper rifle? Squads in the middle east have been including a guy with a designated marksman rifle because the range on the m16 is often insufficient for distance engagements.

He's just throwing out scary sounding buzzwords without sense or reason, I can almost imagine the PR meeting his staff had.

"What should we call home-made guns?"
"I don't know... Homebrewed?"
"NO are you mad?? Name it that and every hipster will be out with 80% lowers! We need something scary!"
"... Monsters are scary."
"Big foot!"
"Terrorists!"
"Term Limits!"
"64 oz soda!"
"Equal rights!" (Someone slaps this guy)

"Wait... how about ghosts?"
"Perfect!!"
"These are hard times, NOT end times!"

That would be 3,600 rpm, triple that of the MAC-10 cyclic rate.

Meh. Kevin de León's ignorance of the firearms he wants to ban cannot be overstated.

The truly sad part is he knows he need not be remotely accurate when preaching to the choir.

He's from California and he must not watch the movies. He'd know all that chit if he watched the movies.

He'd also know that it never runs out of ammo. :roflmao:

Great. The West Coast "answer" to Carolyn McCarthy. At least his Ghost doesn't have the shoulder thing that goes up.

Looks like an effort to make the (D) stand for dumbass.
