If you have guns and small children, LOCK UP YOUR DAMNED GUNS!

It's the law in MN at least.

A 4-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his younger brother Wednesday afternoon while playing with their father's handgun in the family's Minneapolis townhouse, police said.

In Texas there are yellow signs in gun stores, pawn shops, etc, stating the gun owner's responsibility to keep guns away from children. When you buy a gun, other than a gun show, you get a yellow brochure with the same info and a cheap plastic trigger lock. One place I go requires a signed acknowledgement that you were given the lock.

Still, mixing guns and irresponsible adults is never good.

Puffing up is no substitute for smarts but it's a common home remedy
