Sad.
I'd like to take the time, however to bring up the fact that MA has some of the strictest gun laws in the whole country. In fact, the Brady Bunch ranks them third, behind only California and NJ. FFS they register ammunition purchases in MA.
If even one person attempts to bring up some bullcrap about how gun control would have stopped this, I'm going to reach through my computer and bitchslap them.

27They don;t actually register ammunition purchases. You have to HAVE a license and show it, but its not recorded.Wurble wrote:Sad.

28Gun restrictions wouldn't have stopped this. Ammo restrictions wouldn't have stopped this. Clearly, there was a lack of actual law enforcement here if this guy had threatened her with a gun before.
Oh, and for those saying that gun registration would've helped with this...BULLCRAP. Gun registration is indeed the next step before gun confiscation. And one shouldn't need to have a license, i. e. permission from the Authoritahs, to exercise a Constitutional right.
