No I think the whole blame is on early mankind for inventing mining technologies that gave us brass, lead, zinc, iron etc. These things (gasp) may be used in firearms & ammunition manufacturing... Sorry for sarcasm...

NO! NO! NO! You are too short sighted. It was GRRF the Homo Erectus who tamed fire. Without fire there would be no industry. Or maybe go back to his/her great to the 10th power grandparent who made the first weapon from bone.

Actually, I wouldn't too terribly mind seeing this happen, given how badly H&K's customer service SUCKS unless you're a government customer. We've tried contacting H&K for broken guns to ship 'em back. Total ignore without a whole lot of effort, and we're not the only ones they've done that to. Besides, the only gun I find interesting by them is the H&K 91, which PTR has replicated, so who needs 'em? The 1911's, Rugers, S&W's, and Glocks do just as good a job anyway.
