You make a good point.

However, I think this story strikes a chord with those of us who recognize American's are becoming increasingly polarized in their thinking and that those who may believe designations such as Democrat or Republican means something more serious than our shared humanity but still consider themselves sane may learn something from this sorry case.

This guy may be indicative of a bad direction our country is headed which is why we are giving this story so much attention.

Yet my concern is that some odd ducks may actually see this maniac as a martyr.

I will still keep my Obama sign in my yard and on my truck. And I wear a Veterans for Obama shirt regularly.

And while there are some really crazy nutso's on the right, I do not see Armageddon around the corner. So why am I stocking up on ammo you ask?
