Is that the one where the kid was searched, the hands were cuffed behind his back, he was left handed, but the bullet entered the inside of his head through his right temple, and yet the investigation STILL found that it was OBVIOUSLY a suicide?
Blech.

Chavis Carter 'Suicide' Reenactment Video Released By Jonesboro Police
The purpose of the video, the message continues, is to investigate “the possibility that an individual, hand-cuffed behind his back, may or may not have the ability to use a concealed firearm in a manner that would give rise to his or her death.”
An officer -- about Carter’s height and build, with his face blurred -- can be seen wriggling his handcuffed hands from behind his back and then raising a toy gun to his head.
I notice that they all assumed he was right handed and acted accordingly. Idiots made the video.
Yes, it shows how a guy who is right handed can shoot himself in the right temple. Not hard at all.
But a left handed guy shooting himself in the right temple while handcuffed?

I'm left handed but shoot right handed. ZOMG!
On the other hand, I'd sure like to see the dashboard cam evidence which is supposedly consistent with the cop's story.

You do realize the dash cam only points forward, right?

Hmm... In other cases that have been publicized in the media, I've seen video evidence which was produced by a camera giving a view consistent with the view you would get from a camera mounted on the dash but pointing towards the back of the car, so that you would see the cops and/or the people they arrested. So I'm going to venture that at least some police departments have dash cams which capture video forward and backwards.
But if the above does not satisfy you, then consider this... They claim that the dash cam corroborates the cops' story. If their dash cam points forward and it does show nothing relevant at all, then by all means, let them release a video that shows nothing relevant at all, thereby proving that the dash cam corroborates nothing.

If I was mom, I would bring the state or fed investigators in on this one.

I don't have a dog in this race, I was just pointing out that I knew of dash cams pointing forward. If there are ones that point to the rear of the car I stand corrected.

Dash cams can point in both directions. A standard police ploy is to put crime partners in the back seat with the camera facing back and sound record on.
