Shooting rampage statistics

This is a google cached page of a page that has since been taken down. It is an attempt to look at US shooting rampages that were stopped by either civilian or police gunfire. I haven't seen anything like this before and its interesting. As some of you old timers may remember, I am not of the mindset that arming everyone will make everyone nice, so this isn't some subliminal support for heavily arming the populace, just something I found interesting. As were the comments:

Mark, shouldn't you be doing something else?
but thanks, I find the statistics disturbing. I recall hearing about the police at Columbine, waiting...and I recall watching one of the news stations during V. Tech and being appalled at seeing cops hiding behind trees and walls as shots continued to ring out from within the building. I can't blame them really. The civilians described, for the most part, didn't have time to think about what they were about to do..the cops generally do...
I ask myself if I would volunteer to run into a firefight. I am not a cop is about as good an answer as I can come up with.

I am burnt out and procrastinating.

Watch My little pony: friendship is magic excellent show, much better waste of time than anything else on TV.
Or you could stop procrastinating and do work....but who wants that?

there is a pretty large class of right wingers who believe everything the porcine pundit, rush, says. These folks will burn a Mosque in a second. I'd sure like to see rush end up with zero sponsors.
