You may be surprised to learn that most of the human beings
that live on planet Earth today do not drink or use cow's
milk. Further, most of them can't drink milk because it
makes them ill.

There are students of human nutrition who are not supportive
of milk use for adults. Here is a quotation from the
March/April 1991 Utne Reader:

If you really want to play it safe, you may decide to join
the growing number of Americans who are eliminating dairy
products from their diets altogether. Although this sounds
radical to those of us weaned on milk and the five basic
food groups, it is eminently viable. Indeed, of all the
mammals, only humans--and then only a minority, principally
Caucasians--continue to drink milk beyond babyhood.
I confess I still eat Cheddar Cheese and Ice Cream.

So I guess I'm only partly Homophobic.

But I still eat cheese. I just tend towards harder cheeses or funkier cheeses that have low levels of lactose.
My wife loves feta on damned near everything. She's been much happier since we figured out she had bad LI a year or so back. Those lactaid pills work wonders.

I'm going to go for another cup of coffee and dribble a little Carnation into it.

I had to quit drinking the stuff straight several kidney stones ago - too much calcium. I still do cheese, though.

my wife grew up on the dairy farm where we now live and have a few beef cattle,we mainly get our milk and cheese from the Amish or Mennonite farmers nearby.

Mammals drink all the milk they can get, they all eat cheese and ice cream and yogurt. If you don't believe me just leave some out side your door at night. It will all be gone in the morning. I'm sure if they had the smarts to raise cattle and milk them they would. If wolves could figure out how to make cheese they would.

Our 18-year-old daughter just laid the same rap on us about how no other animal drinks milk in adulthood, yadda yadda. We got some almond milk to try, and it's kind of interesting.

While that might be true of other animals, there are plenty of traditional human societies that have been happily using dairy for hundreds and thousands of years. The problem for most, until recently, was lack of refrigeration, making liquid milk hard to keep. So, cheese, yoghurt, buttermilk, etc., all of which keep better. (And, if I'm not mistaken, have lower lactose levels.)

No other animal cooks their food, either.

It's been said that lactose tolerance is the most recent genetic variation in humans, not really dating back very far.
the haplotype is unusually long, given its high frequency—a hallmark of recent selection. We estimate that strong selection occurred within the past 5,000–10,000 years, consistent with an advantage to lactase persistence in the setting of dairy farming

The almond milk isn't bad. I can have it with cookies without getting a stomach ache.

The statistics are correct, but in a misleading way. I buy that the majority of human beings do not consume milk and milk derived food such as cheese- the largest number of people live in East Asia and milk does not figure into their cuisine.
However, if you based the popularity of dairy products according to culture, you would find the non- milk consuming nations in the minority. Dairy products such as curds, are a staple food of people in sub- Saharan Africa ( that's why cows are so valuable ), life without cheese would be unthinkable in Western Europe, milk from donkeys is drunk in Peru as an " energy drink", etc.
Statistics are about the most mallable form of truth there is.
