That document is referring to the disarmament of "states".

1961? What an ass&^%$hole this guy is. At the least, the US Dept. at the time was referring to "them other peoples", but not "us".

wow.... where the hell did you find this?

Do these morons not even listen when we tell them the UN treaty is an import/export treaty, with the goal of keeping guns out of war torn places like africa?

Hell lets assume it IS a gun grabbing move. I highly doubt the UN has the balls to try and take our guns. We're not the Australians and we aren't the Canadians, a large number of gun owners in this country are tea baggers who are already a few cards short of deck. What do they think is going to happen when they come to our doors to collect out guns? Of course they aren't idiots and they know it'd be a bloodbath, they aren't going to touch our guns any more than the democrats are, no matter how much they want to, simply out of fear.

Day before yesterday I was a small airport in Arizona with my brother to move a Sheriff's department plane to another hangar, and ended up chatting with the airport manager for awhile. One of the first things that came out of his mouth was the same crap that the video was saying. The guy was obviously an intelligent man, but seemed to have been brainwashed by right-wing propaganda. This is what we're up against... pretty much the same way the Nazis came to power.

I just want to say thank you to those brave souls that wasted their time watching/listening to this so I won't have to.

The only segment that the UN treaty would damage if the Senate doesn't ratify it are members of the NSSF that export firearms that would fall under this treaty. The Military Industrial Complex is PISSED as hell about this, hence all the hoopla.

Actually it looks like a plan to de-escalate the arms race and set into place a standard method of conflict resolution that avoided war and the continued manufacture of weapons....

No wonder Kennedy had to die, his State Department was wanting to solve conflicts peacefully. The MIC can't have that.
