The man charged with the murder of an unarmed black teenager in Florida, George Zimmerman has now been accused of molesting his younger cousin. She kept her accusations to herself until now because she was afraid of him, she says.
Yet another twist in the story
Re: Zimmerman's next problem
2So we've established he's just an all-around pillar of the community.

Re: Zimmerman's next problem
3I have zero sympathy for him in regards to killing the kid, but this is an attempt by the prosecution to muddy the waters. If I were trying him, my whole case would be based on him be the aggressor and Martin defending himself.
Re: Zimmerman's next problem
4wasn't he like 8 when he molested her?
If I hear "crony" capitalism one more time I'm going to be ill. Capitalism is capitalism, dog eats dog and one dog ends up on top, and he defends that place with all the power he's accumulated.
Re: Zimmerman's next problem
5The article said it was over a ten year span. He was 8-18, his cousin was 6-16. It soils his otherwise spotless character. It also looks like a pattern of abuse rather than normal childhood curiousity or even impulsiveness.

6I always have to stop and remember that all of this shenanigans is going on 10 minutes from where I am sitting at this very moment.

Normally I would be bitching about the pre-trial publicity and taint of the jury pool...but this is Florida, they don't give a shit as long as it makes the evening news.
But still, if I were the defense, I would see this release as a god-send.

8They brought this in because she is speaking to the "he's not a racist" bullshit.

Looks like there are right wing sites already releasing her identity (which the court intended to keep secret) and that of her family as well as information that would make it possible for someone to find her. (I will not link) Charming.

Re: Zimmerman's next problem
9They actually just passed some legislation in Florida that requires all those things to be automatically redacted. You just have to file an additional document when you file the pleading.
