The LGC is looking for a Director of Merchandising

Have you ever wanted to work for no money but have a fancy title? Well now is your chance!

The LGC is expanding and needs your help to keep the ball rolling.

What we need: Someone to be in charge of merchandising. To wit: establishing a firm web store presence through one of the online print on demand services like spreadshirt, zazzle, cafe press, printfection, etc. You will also be in charge of revamping the current line up of merchandise available. Expanding our offering and including new designs is expected.

You will also head up the instructor sales. We will need someone to figure out the most effective way to fulfill orders for student course packets for our instructors. This may be a challenge because we won't be ordering bulk. Perhaps setting up shop with one of the book print-on-demand services would work? Be creative.

Skills that would be helpful: some understanding of graphics files and basic manipulation of them, commitment to The LGC. Honesty.

Who would you answer to? The Executive Director (me).

What do you get? Business cards if you want them. Bragging rights. An email address from our domain. A cookie.

If you are interested, send me a PM or an email.

Thanks,

mark
