FINALLY

got my MA LTC-A (of course with sport restrictions.... arg!) 6.5 weeks after the range test. It's the not knowing that got to me-- and my friendly neighborhood postal workerPoor lady had to deal with me running out the door and slobbering all over her like an over-friendly puppy every morning. Now just waiting for the Utah non-res to come in, and I should be all set for my southern roadtrip at the end of August.

Oh yeah, I can finally PURCHASE a firearm now!

I am currently looking into MA-legal Glock 19's, m&p 9, sr9c, possibly a P95 or an older Springfield P9. Hard to decide between a nice CCW mid-sized and a lovely full size pistol... anyone have any road trip stories/preferences?

I'm leaning towards the smaller pieces as easier to conceal and travel with, and the fact that once I hit California, I can finally get a CZ :)

Who was governor of MA?
An intellectual is someone that can change their mind after being given enough evidence.

Makes me glad I live in a state where I don't need a permit to exercise what I consider to be my constitutional rights.

Well you have the right to drive and own a car but you still need a permit for that.
If I hear "crony" capitalism one more time I'm going to be ill. Capitalism is capitalism, dog eats dog and one dog ends up on top, and he defends that place with all the power he's accumulated.

I'm moving to CA with my wife in August. CZ's aren't legal in MA (stupidstupidstupid-- lots of safety features, have been around since before I was born, and are tried-and-true high-quality machines) but it is what it is.

Right now I'm about 80% sure I'm driving to the Cape to buy a MA- and CA-legal Glock 19 in a week or so.

thanks for the good wishes-- it will be nice to not feel like I'm cheating the rules when I shoot :)

So, additional question-- does anyone here with big hands shoot an SR9c? and are there hogue grips for it?! It seems that a huge part of my accuracy (or lack thereof) depends on some sticky rubber grips...

Why in CA?
Isn't that so sad that someone is looking forward to coming to California so that they can have more firearms freedom... :hmmm:
