Saw this on CNN today, that the House voted to repeal, anyone know anything else? Seems like an incredibly stupid move, cause you know, Obamas TOTALLY going to sign the repeal to his biggest "achievement", and that's assuming it makes it out of the senate.... Political posturing in a time when we need to be helping the american people. They can move fast on stuff like this but at a turtles pace on everything else.

Same reason the "jobs, jobs, jobs" party put forward more anti-choice bills and attacks on women's reproductive rights than at any other time in our history. That is how they roll.

Even if they had a majority in the Senate, the Dems could just filabuster it.

The new rule is you need 60%. The Republicans changed the rules. It's not 51%, it's 60%.

They do what the GOP does best... Waste tax payer dollars while holding the middle class/working poor hostage.
