Our first milestone was actually getting our safety courses approved in MA and IL. Anotehr milestone was registering as a non-profit. Yet another is finally having our membership system online and operational to help us keep track of finances.

We've had several milestones :)

This gives our members a tangible benefit for membership. It is a big deal.

I am able to get you licensed in the city of Chicago, and I guess sign off on your CMP marksmanship requirement.

Illinois has no special course you need you just need to be a State Certified Instructor of which I am.

Heh. Well that went better than expected. Just told the Boss I needed $550 for a Field Grade SA & the reply was "We'll see" and then she talked about ice skating lessons for herself... This is promising... 8-)

And, with an M1 I could see going to Appleseed for some refresher lessons. It has been 25 years since was last on the rifle ranges at Ft Benning.
