Yes, there will be an announcement BUT this is going to be a tad inconvenient as I am guessing they are going to want copies of the membership cards. i got our artwork for the cards back from the printer, they want some changes. i sent those changes to the graphic designer and he is working on them. So, I *think* I would like to hold off on a global club announcement until at the cards are at least being printed. Then I can make a big 'welcome to the lgc v2.0' announcement.

To buy from the CMP, which is *the* place to buy affordable US milsurp before the dealers buy them and mark them up, you must belong to a CMP affiliate club. Almost all of the are the normal clubs, with the exception of the Garand Collectors Association, and now The LGC. :)

The CMP are able to get M1 Garands and sell them at a large discount after refinishing them to groups that are affiliated with them.

maybe if you have a C&R but I don't think LGF or CMP will be able to circumvent the BATF and most will still have to ship through a FFL holder

Yup, I bought one from them, just as wlewisiii said. They will ship straight to you. If you want US milsurp they should be the first place you look.
