How many locations/cities/towns have you lived in?

Any place you've had an address, but only count each place once (I've moved within my current town about a dozen times over the years).

For me, it's 20.

I'll play:

Not counting multiple times in several locations,

1) Eau Claire, WI
2) Ft. Knox, KY
3) Illeshiem, FRG
4) Ft Riley, KS
5) St Cloud, MN
6) Ft Huachuca, AZ
7) Mora, MN
8) Madison, WI
9) Schneider National Truck ( well, seemed like it at times. The Boss sure couldn't handle it.)
9) Hayward, WI

St Louis

New York City
Lake Mille Lacs Minnesota
Las Vegas Nevada
Vietnam (FPO San Francisco)

Behind "The Third Eye" on Thimble Lane, in the San Fernando Valley.
It was a Los Angeles Paradise. We had honeysuckle on the porch. The street was razed for a parking lot and boutique shops.

Then -

Hollywood CA
North Hollywood CA
Steamboat Springs Colorado
Echo Park, Los Angeles
North Hollywood again
South Pasadena California
Highland Park, Los Angeles
Munds Park, Arizona

The state is broke, our pensions and healthcare are at risk, the place is a ghost town with all the people retiring and quitting. The town is a really decent place to live, the U is a really crappy place to work. With any luck we'll be out of here as soon as my wife hits pittance retirement age in 18 months.

So sorry, Pax. Even in 1983, UIUC was not a great employer. we got back to Tucson as quick as we could.

In sum, PA is not a bad state. Lots of nice small towns, pretty farm land, and low cost of living. Our area is conservative but not rabid. We are considered to be eccentric curiousities by the locals.

In 1983 I was a firefighter at UIUC; and we lived in Tucson in 2006/2007, small world. :)
