In a SHTF situation, anyone threatening me and my family isn't just an attacker, they're a food source. Meh, if it's just a home invader, I've got steak or porkchops in the fridge. But really should cannibalism really that strange an idea? I mean if I'm dead I don't want my body rotting in the ground in a sealed vault, I want it going back to the earth and being useful, so at the very least compost my ass. Really I promise I won't care, you know, because I'll be dead. So I guess the short answer is I see humans as no different than any other creature, just smarter ones.
