I hate conservatives
1I hate them all. There isn't one I want anything to do with. They are so fucking proud of their stupidity. God fucking DAMN I hate conservatives. I wish the plagues of Job on each and every one of them.

No. Not me. In fact, I cringe when I read stuff like that. Thats like Taliban-type thinking there.Awake wrote:You made us smile!

Sorry. I just can't take it any more.Catalyst wrote:No. Not me. In fact, I cringe when I read stuff like that. Thats like Taliban-type thinking there.Awake wrote:You made us smile!
at times that sort of thinking is well grounded in logic and reason for for actual harm done. It's not correct for conservatives at large, they are just the mislead and confused children of the world, CEO's and the corporate elite on the other hand by definition are thieves.Catalyst wrote:No. Not me. Hmmmm...I don't know whether or not to agree with you or call you a right-wing troll who is trying to bait us into saying something stupid.telecat wrote:I hate them all. A republican in Washington is a democrat in Montanna.
it's not demanding to expect humans to exercise sound logic. Conservatism does not exercise this logical ability of the human brain. And that is what separates us fromm the animalesgoosekiller wrote:There are times i marvel at the fact that we all have two eyes(actually 3 or maybe even 4 depending on consciousness) and roughly the same number of fingers and toes.
Expecting all Americans to think like me seems a bit demanding.
Admittedly, i also marvel at how one of the aforementioned eyes provides accumen for so many.
This is how I see it too. People seem to think that both sides are equal (libs and conservatives) in that they are just two groups with different beliefs, but that is not the case in many circumstances. I would say that might be true for a group like libertarians, but not the modern day conservatives that I encounter. Being a hypocrite and anti-thought is not a stance I choose to legitimize. The things they claim to believe in, like small government and pro-life, is pure hypocrisy. I do agree however that spewing hate at them does no good. Education is the only way to make sure the next generations in the red states are more tolerant and are more analytical.gendoikari87 wrote:it's not demanding to expect humans to exercise sound logic. Yes it is. Have you seen humans? Have you heard them talk?gendoikari87 wrote:it's not demanding to expect humans to exercise sound logic.
Good point, but if we as a species aren't capable of it, biological life is fucked. Especially considering we as a species for the first time in all of existence have as a species the ability to wipe out all biological life on the planet. the ability to reason is not one we can simply leave as a choice, at least for those in power. Great power comes with great responsibility.Fukshot wrote:Yes it is. Have you seen humans? Have you heard them talk?gendoikari87 wrote:it's not demanding to expect humans to exercise sound logic.
This combined with an electoral recall every few years is a suitable starting point for a replacement for our current form of democracy. Physicists, and mathematicians should control the world not CEO's and lawyers.Technocracy is a form of government in which experts in technology would be in control of all decision making. Scientists, engineers, and technologists who have knowledge, expertise, or skills, would compose the governing body, instead of politicians, businessmen, and economists.[1] In a technocracy, decision makers would be selected based upon how knowledgeable and skillful they are in their field.
What?? No love for chemists??? Come on!gendoikari87 wrote:

I try to be optimistic where my fellow man is concerned - I consider myself to be a Humanist. But you do have a point I have to say. When I hear some of the crackpot stuff that comes out of the mouths of people around me I have to wonder what planet they're from. Incidentally, many of those crackpots are Republicans.Fukshot wrote:Yes it is. Have you seen humans? you know what I mean, scientists, actually the most qualified in actuality are probably sociologists.Catalyst wrote:What?? No love for chemists??? Come on!gendoikari87 wrote:

I'm not sure the majority of them have an excuse, we are the species, after all, that landed on the fucking moon, invented speech, defined logic. We evolved empathy because it helped us survive, because we as humans are more than the sum of our abilities when we work together. so the level of conservative ignorance is inexcusable. I mean they are humans aren't they, or are they.... I can't say monkies because they even have logical reasoning abilities..... amphibians?Skeptilius wrote:I try to be optimistic where my fellow man is concerned - I consider myself to be a Humanist.
