I had a student who's father ate his dog. Apparently the father thought the dog rather tasty. It's a Korean thing I guess...I don't think that the father was stoned or anything but I don't know. The student was sort of depressed for a while.

My dog would take it personally if I were to harbor any ideas about eating him...then he'd probably bite me.
