SCOTUS has struck down all but the "papers please" provision but they emasculated that part of it as well. Cops are still required to check status but cannot make minor immigration arrests. I'm still looking for a good explanatory link other than Huffpost, which I refuse to use.

Maybe local cops should strip away the TSA duties and check airports as well, and they should take over the game warden's jobs, and the dog pound guy, maybe they should also manage the security at national parks, and...and...and...
