Hot as sin here to us delicate flowers of the Northeast, brown ales (CZ's and tandem bikes) can fix that.
Cheers!

I wouldn't be mixing ales with guns...

Having said that, what a fantastic 97B right there.

Considering I haven't a single round of 45 in the house, I'll let it slip tonight :D

It was only 97 here with 80% humidity yesterday and it will get worse.

110 here yesterday in the afternoon, but it was 55 when I went out to feed at 530. Still in the 90s at 719. The saving grace is <20% humidity, but that is about to change as the summer rains get closer. Beer helps, but this time of year I prefer a double shot of rye on plenty of ice in a tall glass topped with soda water, a twist and a couple shakes of Peychaud's bitters. After that, I have another one, or two.

Us born and breed Northwesterners start to wilt if it gets over 78░F. (OTOH, we go bare-headed in what anyone else would call a downpour, and some of us wear socks with sandals during the annual snowfall.)

I grew up in Chicago and northern Wisconsin. If it was above freezing and not actively snowing I was in shorts and a t-shirt.

Our electric bill is huge in summer here.

Cool and rainy here in the Tacoma area. Guess I shouldn't complain.

90 F in Laramie today. It was 70 at 8am. Weird for 7200 feet elevation and clear skies. We don't have the humidity, though, but that sure doesn't help the High Park fire burning NW of Fort Collins, CO.

106 here in cool sunny Tucson. Probably 8 or 10 degrees hotter in loony bin Phoenix. But it is a dry heat! (as if that makes any difference above 100 F. ) The unofficial motto of the Sonoran Desert is "It's summer, get over it!" The weather bureau, whatever they're calling it these days, doesn't even have a high heat warning up.

I've been doing repairs on my car in the carport (not many home garages here, either.) Get up at 5:00 when it's in the 70's and work til 10:00 or 11:00. AZ doesn't go on daylight savings time, we want it to get dark earlier rather than later.

I got home the other night and stood in front of the ice machine guzzling ice water. Really hot weather, nothing's quite as good as good ice water (and we have great well water here where I live.) BTW, a guy working on the new Costco died the other day of heat stroke.

Basically, tho, it's like living in front of a heat gun. Or a very hot hair dryer.

The PNW is schizophrenic as always. Was beautiful and 80s yesterday, now it's rain for the next 5 days, then more sun. Will never get below 60º, so it will be stuffy in my little apartment.
