The poll, constructed by Dartmouth government professor Benjamin Valentino and conducted by YouGov from April 26 to May 2, found that fully 63 percent of Republican respondents still believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction when the U.S. invaded in 2003. By contrast, 27 percent of independents and 15 percent of Democrats shared that view.

who can argue with a cartoon after all?

If they admit that they were wrong then they must accept some of the responsibility for the pain and death that stupid war caused. It would take a morally strong person to do that. People who preach loudly rarely have the back bone to back up their beliefs.

The rolling laboratories were the plagiarizing of a novel that I think was written by Lincoln Childs or Preston/Childs (I think it was them) about a half a decade before. I read the book and when the Bush administration made their claims I knew they were lying. The descriptions were almost identical to the ones in the novel.

I wonder, what was the white powder in the vial Colin Powell held up in his U.N. speech? And who prepared that little prop for him?

Look, the Rove model of propaganda, and he has alluded to this,
1. Construct a meme of bumper sticker length (Obama is a socialist, Where's the Birth certificate?)
1. Spout a version of the bumper sticker, daily
2. Run away and repeat #1

People who debunk his lies are always posting rebuttals, with URLs and considered reasoning; as such the rebuttal is buried on page 50 while his newest version is posted in WAR IS DECLARED sized headlines. They don't care what yesterday's bumper sticker was, the only one that counts is the one today.

They (the largely southern hard Right social conservatives) also think he's a Muslim. I believe this "otherness" they've assigned to Obama is merely a euphemism for a racial slur they don't dare use publicly.
