Where I get my news

So I have been a member on the forum for a month or two now. Because checking gun forums is more fun than reading msnbc.com at work, I have found that I am increasingly getting more of my news from this forum than from actual news sources (or at least I am made aware of the news and linked to a good article). This has had one significant positive side effect; my wife has started to change her views on "gun nuts." She is starting to realize gun enthusiast does not equal closed minded republican. My favorite example was when I told her about the Rep. Lisa Brown story. When I told her where I first heard it (here) I am pretty sure she spit some of her drink out in shock.
Who knew a gun forum would provide reasonable viewpoints on current events.

My name is G&G and I'm an LGC Forumholic.
I can only do 11 steps. Let some deity walk a mile in my shoes. Then I'll consider the 12th.
I use this Forum, the Daily Show, The New Yorker and of course, Rolling Stone.
Without the Forum I'd only log on to occasionally shop and play mmorpgs.
Except Star Wars which rarely has more than 2 of us on the server.
