Have i missed anything?

1
I have been scarce lately due to my deployment in the War on Bugs and a few fishing trips. While the current surge in buggery(poor phraseology perhaps) has kept me way too damned busy, i have stopped in every now and then for a quick check but it did not take long for me to realize i will never catch up. The days of reading every word of every post are long gone for me.

Did i miss anything cool or Earth-shattering?

Killing is good. As far as i am concerned, a man can kill anything he wants as long as he eats it.
Unless, of course, your name is Ladykiller.

Damn you guys beat me to it.
If I hear "crony" capitalism one more time I'm going to be ill. Capitalism is capitalism, dog eats dog and one dog ends up on top, and he defends that place with all the power he's accumulated.

But, but, but, didn't you say you were in the bug killing business?

Welcome back, anyway.

SD summarized well the happenings or non-happenings here. So tell us about the War on Bugs, it sounds more interesting than the war on drugs.

Welcome back! We missed you!

We have a crap-load of new members and I agree that it's now impossible to read all the posts...

Which I guess is a good thing.

Neither is winnable.
Last "winter" was so warm that survival rates for ants were the highest in my lifetime. New business! Odorous House Ants in particular. They were pretty scarce around these parts 20 years ago(hitching a ride in landscape products from down south), but the milder winters have allowed them to survive here. They are kinda quirky and if an inexperienced bugman does not identify them properly, a standard treatment can make things much, much worse for the homeowner in a hurry. I have stolen enough business from the major companies this year that i am shopping for a new truck and a boat for behind it.

I think that's 0.007%, juxtaposed to Spain's 7.1%.

Just the cockroach problem in the State Building should get you enough for that cabin cruiser. ;)

With four Gubnahs going to the Gray Bar Motel in the last few decades, i believe you owe an apology to roaches worldwide, sir. There is no vermin so low as he who robs the people when charged with protecting them.

I stand corrected. :) Living things whose death keep someone knee deep in mashland blinds are things of wonder and beauty.

Who are the other two? Big Jim went to a quiet retirement, didn't he? Also, I'm pretty sure that Edgar Scissorhands is a free man as well.

Then again, with the SEC 'looking into' Hollinger International, Big Jim may just join The Haircut and Georgie Boy yet. ;)

Indecent is in the eye of the beholder.

Couldn't have been superpissed. I think(?) i would remember why AND would have to care about what dummards think to qualify.
