My wife does this. I'll give it a try.
Much of my problem was that I regularly carried a bunch of weight on my beltline, and it was poorly distributed. Try counterweighting your pistol with a couple of mags on the off side, or maybe a Leatherman or something. Load distribution is key, and many cops, construction workers, or anyone else who carries weight on their belt have had to learn this the hard way too. This is one of the reasons I chose a pistol that weighs roughly 1lb loaded, my Leatherman and flashlight even things out nicely.
The Thunderwear holster looks like it distributes weight better. I'm going to give it a try.

I have live with spinal arthritis for the last 10 years plus from cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine and the only thing they can do is fuse install rods and clean it up but both neurologist and orthopedic specialist have both told me most likely I could come out worse, so that's a no brainer. both hips are also shot and those I may consider replacement. I am unable to take meds, for pain because of my ulcerative colitis so I just live with pain and have learned to do so,couple hours of sleep a night no fun but hey I am still alive to enjoy my family and that all I care to do......................

So hang in there and I hope you are able to cope with your pain...

Thanks, Irishman. You too.

I've been carrying my SW 642 in a pocket holster the past few days. That really helps with the pain, but the problem is with retrieval time. Pocket holsters really slow you down should you have to draw in an emergency.

Well, I guess we're anxiously awaiting a review of this holster! I've seen those around, and have considered picking one up before. If it works out, let us know, for sure.

Also, the stretching can really do wonders! I actually found out later that some of the things my physical therapist had me do were actually yoga. There's just such a stigma associated with the name for so many people, the doctor left that part out at first.
