It seems that the 2010 experience in IL has soured some on using the Middle States.

There are some nice outdoor ranges here as well as good indoor ranges. Not all of them require NRA memberships, just the overly expensive ones.

Yeah, with luck the 2013 meeting will be our family vacation next year.

and now our dog may be the only thing keeping us from going.

If the meetings are going to be in August then Northern States will be the most pleasant.

south carolina. Goodie bags included bq sauce, pork rinds, moon pies and pig brains in milk gravy. The deep south was well represented.

ha.... u need to get out more. there is still a lot of regional variation in the country, thank god. i love visiting places and trying new things - if we were all the same it would be boring. btw, growing up rice and gravy, or tomatoes and rice, or okra and tomatoes over rice was a staple at nearly every supper. since i married the daughter of furriners i don't get much southern food unless i cook it or we go out.
