Is there a single LGC member who is NOT in the Libertarian-Left quadrant? Anyone here rubbing shoulders with Stalin and Trotsky in the Authoritarian-Left? The conservative Right all call us Communists. Is there not a solitary token Communist here to make them happy? It's OK... we need diversity... we will adopt you as our mascot if you come out of the closet! Anyone?...

I took a Socialist/Communist test on Facebook, but I came out as Eugene Debs.

I'll take a Wobbly Socialist union organizer. You, Sir, are our best candidate so far.
Would you consider running for office? Eugene Debs redux sounds pretty good.

I just copied lurker's because his dot is in the same place as mine.

there has to be some mistake. i'm left of and less authoritarian than jill? middle of the road, wishy-washy fence-sitting me? how is this possible?

ok, i have a couple of procedural issues with the test, which may skew one way or the other, maybe that accounts for it. for example where i wanted to say no opinion or don't know, there's no option, so i erred left. maybe just for grins i'll take it again and see how far right i can lean it without straining credulity.
i'm retired. what's your excuse?

I’ve retaken the Political Compass test a couple years later, so....ARISE O THREAD!

To take the test: https://www.politicalcompass.org

I’m about where I was over two years ago, nudged slightly more left (gee, I wonder why?).
It says I’m well inside the Libertarian/Left quadrant and to the left of Noam Chomsky (that notorious fascist!).
I should check out this Kropotkin guy, since we seem to be rubbing shoulders. ;-)

What we learned today kids is that political leaders are Authoritarian while we are literally opposite them on the graph, and they represent us.
Apparently after a test retake I'm more Left leaning from the last time...any farther and I'll fall off my Libertarian chair.
I think these test show just how much time one can waste on a Sunday morning, where time is measured by cups of coffee!

I'm kinda surprised and shocked. I always considered myself more centered and moderate...my Nieces and Nephews consider me to be one step down from a Fascist.
