Nope. Seems just about right and it will never change.
oh it'll change, the politicians keep moving upwards, and upwards, and eventually they when they hit the top, they will fall back down to the rest of us.

History is much like an endless waltz, the three beats of war, peace and revolution continue on forever.

Except that they both get to appoint people who don't have to be elected. That means Mitt will appoint people further right and O will appoint people further left. What's scary is that the two of them are sitting on either side of what popular discourse would have us believe is the "center".

I'm not even so sure about Obama appointing people further left, seems like he appoints centrists who are then tagged as Super-Socialists by the right wing wackos. I don't think anybody'd say putting a Monsanto lobbyist into the FDA was a leftist move.

Think of it -- and everything else -- in terms of class.

Lower left is class conscious 99%.
Lower right is deluded/confused 99%.
Upper left is North Korea -- I can't think of any U.S. group or tendency that fits there.
Upper right is the 1%. And that explains why the politicians live there.

Yeah Monsanto.... Monsanto, the company that brings you puss in milk supply, as the head of the FDA.......

Obama may be bolder for the next appointees, especially if the Senate turns bluer

I'd be happy with a Classic Liberal appointee. Then again, I hope that honest folks would run for office, too...

Does anyone really think any of that neocon-ish cabal on the scotus is going to willingly provide an opening for O to fill? Not me.

Someone's gotta die, or close.
Clarence Thomas 2012 Age: 63 - 2016 Age: 67
Samuel Alito 2012 Age: 62 - 2016 Age: 66
John Roberts 2012 Age: 57 - 2016 Age: 61
Antonin Scalia 2012 Age: 76 - 2016 Age: 80
Anthony Kennedy 2012 Age: 75 - 2016 Age: 79

Since Scalia and Kennedy are still in fairly good condition, nothing short of Scalia choking to death on his own evil is going to free up a vacancy.

But I'm curious to see if anyone has changed in the last few years, and maybe we can see where some of the newer members are at on this compass.

I just retook the test and I don't seem to have shifted much (could've sworn I posted my earlier results somewhere but I couldn't find it). I'm still pretty much center-left libertarian (like a classical liberal), which puts me at odds with authoritarians of all stripes.

Lately I've been feeling what Dave Rubin and many other liberals have been saying lately: that the left has abandoned them. It seems I haven't changed, I guess the left is just becoming increasingly authoritarian.

I'm in the general vicinity (and slightly to the left of) of Noam Chomsky, according to the amusing certificate with the faces of historical characters on them. Nice. Same left axis as Jeremy Corbyn. Same Libertarian axis as Bernie.
This is too generalized and flawed to be very accurate, but still amusing.
