Will try to get to the range today or tomorrow with my old S&W Model 19 and my Regulation Police (square butt Hand-Ejector). One 38 Spl/357 and the other 32S&W/32S&W Long.

Just for fun I recently repeated the Texas License To Carry (LTC) Course of fire but with my 1942 Regulation Police with 32 S&W Long 158 gr Semi- Wadcutters and all shots double action.
Course of Fire:
3 yard line - 20 shots:
• 1 shot in 2 seconds, 5 times
• 2 shots in 3 seconds, 5 times (six rounds, four rounds)
• 5 shots in 10 seconds, once

7 yard line - 20 shots:
• 5 shots in 10 seconds, once
• 1 shot in 3 seconds, 5 times
• 2 shots in 4 seconds, once
• 3 shots in 6 seconds, once
• 5 shots in 15 seconds, once

If you shot all 5’s at the 3 and 7 you’d have 200 points before the 15, 25 points more than is needed to pass!

15 yard line - 10 shots:
• 2 shots in 6 seconds, once
• 3 shots in 9 seconds, once
• 5 shots in 15 seconds, once
In all, I would have passed but I did pull two shots at the 15 yard target.

Boy, you said it, CDFingers. Mosins in particular seemed to go their new homes pregnant a few years ago. Next thing you open the safe, there are more of 'em!

I figure that, aside from folks here, the odds that a given person knows I'm carrying a Lavender Lady are slim, and if I unholster it, whoever sees it is having other problems.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

Red dot sighted in yesterday at the range. Man, do I have a lot of work to do with presentation after drawing so I can pick up that red dot faster. A new challenge and a fancy new pistol.

I'm updating carry guns and consolidating my "collection" to only "users and shooters" and everything else has been sold. First project was to add a red dot and update the holster to suit as this one is an EDC. Beretta Px4 Inox Full Size (stainless) now with Holosun HS507C X2 RDO and a Toni Systems dovetail RDO mount.

Learned a lot in the first couple projects. Like I'm stuck on Holosun RDO's and Vedder Kydex. It's a new love affair that started when I got laser cartridges and an electronic target and started working on drawing from concealment against a timer.

Next up is to give my Px4 Subcompact the same treatment only the dovetail mount I used on the full size won't work on the subcompact. So it'll be a tougher project.
