Now this is now out in the wild. I wonder how his die-hard cult members will take his admitting to having lied to them while grifting them for, lo, these long four years?
Donald Trump has finally admitted he did lose the 2020 election to Joe Biden.

The link leads to a page of video clips @ msnbc, and the top one is clips of him admitting it.

It's looking more and more like defeet of bone spurs is in the offing. His strategy devolves only to armed insurrection, which itself is seeming ever more unlikely as his followers feel more and more betrayed. Sux to be him and them.

Former President Donald Trump's sentencing date has been rescheduled to Nov. 26

--snrp--

Trump was found guilty in an unprecedented criminal trial on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, following a six-week trial stemming from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's investigation.

SOB keeps getting breaks NOBODY else gets, yet whines that he's been targeted.
Hunter Biden hasn't gotten a break.
Robert Menendez hasn't gotten a break.
Even Oozy Rudy hasn't gotten a break.
Nor has Peter Navarro or Steve Bannon.
But TOS whines and whines and whines even as judges give him unprecedented breaks nobody else gets.

Biden should pardon Hunter the day after the election is decided, and fuck the Fox shit storm (Truth Social may be bankrupt by then--#7!)

Like all of the court actions to date, Trump would have used the sentencing for fund raising. He would have played his victim card like many people do and pictured himself as a martyr for the cause. And he would have raked in millions. Now it will take place after the election

I suppose this link is really about the indictments. It is Nick Fuentes melting down after hearing the orange spirochete saying that he lost the 2020 election "by a whisker." Fuentes knows that TOS knew from the beginning that 'ed lost. It's Fuentes melting down in real time finding out he'd been scammed and suffered all manner of sanctions and so on. Very enjoyable.

My latest fantasy is that first, of course, he loses.

Then, six months down the road, he goes to get sentenced. The same dingy courtroom where the papers had such a field day with the lighting and general squalor. But now no one is there who doesn't have to be there, because no one cares. Just like the other 200 felons that were sentenced there that day.

When he leaves, he goes out the door and turns to wave to his supporters. Except again, there's no one there.

When I can't sleep, sometimes I lay awake and add details to the fantasy. Like how his attorneys sent junior associates to the sentencing, because they're obligated to attend, but they haven't been paid.

Usually, I get to sleep before the fantasy gets him all the way to General Booking, but I'm sure when we get there there will be a lot of material from that first night in prison to add to the fantasy.

The only thing I can't make up my mind about is this: will he be killed inside of his first twenty four hours inside, or will he be welcomed like a conquering hero?

In my version, he gets bored of the picture books in his single-wide trailer set in the prison courtyard since Danvers, his current Secret Service agent, stopped answering him after the first month of rotation.

Make that a camping trailer. He should have anymore space than what he would have in a single bed cell.

As it happened, your version triggered a new version of my fantasy, the fantasy Danvers conversation.

More appropriate threads have been locked, so post here.

Seems Ted Cruz is getting worried as he has agreed to debate Colin Allred. Polls show even or Allred ahead by 1 point. Abbynormal for Texas blueman.
Also, today is 45 days to election, so expect I will receive my mail in ballot next week.

Saw an article yesterday that said Schumer released $159 million from his Super PAC to help senate candidates in OH, MT, NV, AZ...but not Texas. Did hear that Liz Cheney was campaigning in Texas for Allred. Democrats also think they can dethrone Rick Scott in Florida, but that's not likely and Schumer isn't pumping money into that race. Republicans and Democrats both like their "dark money" Super PACs.

Rebuffed and rejected, the orange spirochete fails to persuade the judge to delay.
Chutkan chastised Trump’s attorneys for repeatedly asking her to reconsider her schedule and allow them to kick off discussion of the immunity issue “several months from now” in unrelated filings.

“For the second time in a week, Defendant urges reconsideration of the current pretrial schedule in a brief intended to respond to a separate issue, and without actually filing a motion to that effect,” she wrote.

“The court has already addressed the scheduling objections Defendant raised when he was given an opportunity to do so.”

In the same order Chutkan grants Smith’s request to file a 180-page opening brief on how to address the immunity issues in the case, a request which likewise earned pushback from Trump’s team.

Re: Orange spirochete indictment thread

Appeals court judges appeared to question the legitimacy of the civil fraud case against Donald Trump as the former president urged the court Thursday to overturn a judgment against him that has ballooned, with interest, to more than $478 million. In February, a Manhattan trial judge found that Trump and other defendants — including his adult sons, Don Jr. and Eric, along with several business associates — fraudulently inflated his net worth and the value of his real estate properties to obtain favorable rates from banks and insurers.

The nearly half-billion-dollar penalty ordered by the trial judge initially threatened to trigger a financial crisis for Trump. But a New York appeals court sharply reduced the amount of the bond he had to post to avoid immediate enforcement of the verdict. Trump is now asking that same court to toss out the verdict entirely. During oral arguments on Thursday, some members of the five-judge appeals court panel suggested that New York Attorney General Tish James had overstepped by using the particular New York fraud statute she used to bring the case against Trump.

As soon as Deputy Solicitor General Judith Vale, arguing for James, began her opening remarks, she was cut off by Associate Justice David Friedman, who questioned whether her office had ever before used the statute “to upset a private business transaction that was between equally sophisticated partners.” Associate Justice Llinet Rosado chimed in once Friedman finished to add, “and little to no impact on the public marketplace.” The justices’ questions echoed one of Trump’s central lines of defense: He has argued that no one was harmed by the inflated valuations. Vale disputed that suggestion, saying “there was absolutely a public impact and a public interest here,” but she continued to field similar questions from other judges.

The panel didn’t rule Thursday. The former president hasn’t had to turn over the full amount of the judgment because a panel of state appeals judges allowed him to put up only a $175 million bond while he appeals the verdict.

It's just too bad for the orange spirochete that Jack Smith's 165 page filing about all the crimes just hit the fan. It's just too bad. Hehe.
Donald Trump laid the groundwork to try to overturn the 2020 election even before he lost, knowingly pushed false claims of voter fraud and “resorted to crimes” in his failed bid to cling to power, according to a newly unsealed court filing from prosecutors that offers new evidence from the landmark criminal case against the former president.

I love how Jack Smith has proven himself to be the slow, methodical prosecutor that Hoovers up all the facts of a case and lays out a narrative that is easily understood in his filings. He is truly the experienced procecutor in the international court used to the minds and inner workings of war criminals. While “innocent until proven guilty,” going after Trumplethinskin is a cake-walk for Jack Smith. Because Richie Rich is so impulsive and lacks any sense of self-restraint, the evidence of his crimes are all laying there out in the open with this guy.
