https://www.rawstory.com/news/trump-wor ... 668896939/Donald Trump threatened voters with the prospect of World War III and another great depression with an all-caps rant in which he referred to himself in the third person Monday.
The Republican presidential nominee told followers on Truth Social — where the hashtag "Trump is a coward" continued to trend — to expect global catastrophe should they fail to reelect him in November.
"VOTERS HAVE A CHOICE — TRUMP PROSPERITY, OR THE KAMALA CRASH & GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024, NOT TO MENTION THE PROBABILITY OF WORLD WAR lll IF THESE VERY STUPID PEOPLE REMAIN IN OFFICE," Trump wrote.
"REMEMBER, TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!"

Interestingly, the comment includes a reference to one of the many Trump comments that have later been proven wrong, false or misleading.
Trump famously warned in 2023 that President Joe Biden's reelection would result in World War II, which of course took place from 1939 to 1945.
Nor was that Trump's first reported misstatement.
A Washington Post analysis linked Trump to 30,573 false or misleading statements during his tenure in the White House. More recently, a New Republic report found Trump told 30 in 90 minutes during a rally in Wisconsin in June.
Other topics upon which the former president has been fact-checked include:
The size of his penthouse in the New York City tower that bears his name.
The size of his inauguration.
The size of his recent Bronx campaign rally.
The size of the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
The power of bleach.
The country in which his father was born.
That former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is not former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The effect of sharpie pens on weather reports.
The number of times he appeared on the cover of Time.
The 2020 presidential election.
Notice he is hung up on size. I remember what my Dad said when somebody was bragging about his size. Real men don't have to brag about their size. TOS probably hasn't been able to see his feet past his belly in years. Thought I was going to mention something else.
