So the LGS had one wander in. I've got a Norinco, but always wanted a Russian one. I'm trying to do some research before I pick it up, and the picture I snagged does have a serial. I'll put in some pics I snagged, just trying to figure out exactly what I'm looking at so I can bargain better.

A real SKS is a Rooskie SKS.

I completely missed out on the era where these were dirt cheap, but I want a good SKS real bad, put steel ammo through that.
