6. small caliber pocket handgun revolver and semi-auto (not derringer)

9. modern standard capacity 9mm (hammer and striker fired- that way I don't have to give glock its own category)

Another American 22 pistol that saw use in WWII for training US Army soldiers was the High Standard, Army Ordnance found it cheaper to train with 22LR than 45 ACP ammo. The OSS also used them to train their agents and suppressed versions were used for "wet jobs", later also used by the CIA and DOD. Even Britain's SOE is reported to have used them in WWII.

Old friend used to find those High Standards all the time in the late 70's.
