Trump demands 'termination' of Constitution so he can return to power

1
Former President Donald Trump on Saturday flat-out called for the "termination" of the United States Constitution so that he could be returned to the presidency.

Reacting to the news that Twitter in the runup to the 2020 election removed tweets that featured pornographic photos of Hunter Biden, Trump declared that the entire election had been stolen from him and demanded to be returned to the presidency.
His sedition quote
"So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. "A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great 'Founders' did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!"

Calling for the termination of the US Constitution is beyond and bounds previously set. He is over the line. Arrest and lock him up. Trial for sedition and treason for encouraging the overthrow of the legally elected federal government. Also include his followers and supporters in Congress unless under oath they deny supporting him in this action.

Of course this is idiotic and only his loud but shrinking base would nod their collective empty heads at this. BUT, this, along with J6, is sedition, is it not? Calling for a coup, to remove a POTUS after a free and fair election? Way too many maga(t)s still believe this tripe. And unfortunately a LOT of GOPathetic would vote for this turd again.
So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?
This is funny/scary..WHO would do the 'throwing out'? Who would do the 'new election'?? TOG thinks 'the people', meaning 'armed' people, meaning an armed, violent coup...Expect trump to call for a 'storm'...trump needs to be locked up.

For right below..YES, the media DOES obsess over that the turd says because what he says(and does) is DANGEROUS to the very fabric of our republic..

Trumps says so many stupid things and the left wing media obsesses on every word he says.
“Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION? A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” Trump wrote in a post on the social network Truth Social and accused “Big Tech” of working closely with Democrats. “Our great ‘Founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”

He can't say has was misquoted because he wrote it on his own media platform, but he will say that people are misinterpreting what he said. Same old bullshit with Trump.
Asked about Trump’s comments Sunday, Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said he “vehemently” disagrees and “absolutely” condemns the remarks, saying they should be a factor as Republicans decide who should lead their party in 2024. “There is a political process that has to go forward before anybody is a frontrunner or anybody is even the candidate for the party,” he said. “I believe that people certainly are going to take into consideration a statement like this as they evaluate a candidate.”

Rep.-elect Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., also objected to the remarks, saying it was time to stop focusing on the “grievances of prior elections.” “The Constitution is set for a reason, to protect the rights of every American,” Lawler said. “I think the former president would be well-advised to focus on the future, if he is going to run for president again.”

On J6 Dump should have been impeached, relieved of command via the 25th, and placed under arrest pending charges of sedition and treason by DOJ.

Pence, along with the all the other GOP simps and rats didn't have the stones to do it, being too afraid of Dump's rabid hoarde of zombie followers.

Anyone who still supports that POS can never claim to love America or the Constitution ever again, since he's so eager to toss it aside. He's made the GOP the official brand of lawlessness and anarchy.

Exactly, he was talking this shit after he lost to Biden in 2020.
Perhaps the most off-base suggestion was that Trump should “suspend the Constitution” or “suspend civil liberties.” Simply put, this is impossible. The federal government is always bound by the Constitution and possesses only the powers it grants. The Constitution allows Congress to suspend the writ of habeas corpus under certain conditions, but neither Congress nor the president has the power to set aside any other constitutional right. As the Supreme Court explained in the 1866 case Ex parte Milligan, “the Constitution of the United States is a law for rulers and people, equally in war and in peace, and covers with the shield of its protection all classes of men, at all times, and under all circumstances.” In that decision, the Supreme Court affirmed that even during the Civil War — undoubtedly the most dangerous emergency this country has ever faced — the Constitution still applied.

Trump isn't president, he's just an old man who says things for shock value. He's playing his victim card, we've heard it all before about how he was "wronged". Trump has never been a real "democrat", it's always about him and making money without government interference.
He says stuff for media attention, the media obsesses on him and they play the public and they watch the money roll in.

When his wacko followers start talking about suspending the Constitution, remind them that freedom of speech including the crap they post online and the right to practice their religion would also be suspended along with habeas corpus (imprisonment without charges) and the right to bear arms.

Here's my latest letter to the editor. Shame them bastids, I say. It's titled "as the worm turns"

Supporters of the orange spirochete know that the Jewish space lasers track their every move and automatically download the data to our Quaker oatmeal boxes from whence we ingest and employ it every morning to fill our Too Knurled Order Deluxe Version Bingo cards. But we’re not going to out you all in public by pointing and laughing. We think it cruel to tease folks who can’t pour sand out a golf shoe even with instructions printed between the cleats. We want you all to know that we know. That’s how it goes—everybody knows. Just keep your heads down and avoid making it worse. Don’t embarrass your town any more than you already have.

Democracy is a messy business.

Florida Man yells at Constitution.

I wouldn't worry, except that I saw a guy at the supermarket wearing a MAGA hat and driving a SUV with that damned window sticker that makes it look like he's the former president's chauffeur. Weird that it doesn't depict him lunging for the wheel, but faithful representation of events does seem to be a weak point here.

I never took his odds seriously in 2016. Now I refuse to reject the hypothesis that his followers have no principles and will stop at nothing to kill us all.

Wingnuts, MAGAts, and Christian Extreamists are all part of a long line of death cults who celebrate some idea of Armageddon because they see their cause is as lost in this country. If they must go they want to take a few others with them mentality. This lost cause feeling is understandable since so many people have lost so much in the recent years yet wanting to take out innocent others while riding a sinking ship of their own minds is rather despicable and selfish; not exactly the image of goodness or piety they project. But then again, hypocrisy is one striking characteristic of overall immaturity.
