“We certainly encourage anti-weapons policies, but cannot police it. All of the stores in North Carolina belong to independent, local franchise owners, who are responsible for their own employee policies,” a spokesperson for Domino’s told WBTV.
Yeah, too bad you can't encourage the perps to enact anti-weapons policies.

There does not appear to be a law barring _ownership_ for minors yet, but armed robbery already is illegal. I seriously doubt a ban on ownership for those under 21 would have dissuaded the perps. There is a pistol purchase permit requirement.

Looks like 18 is the requirement for a purchase permit, 21 for concealed carry license.

A man delivering pizza at an apartment complex shot and injured three people who were trying to rob him late Monday night in east Charlotte, police say. A fourth person accused in connection with the robbery was not injured, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Police say the deliver driver, who was carrying a pistol, called 911 to report the robbery and shooting near the 3300 block of Magnolia Hill Drive around 11:50 p.m. He told officers four people tried to rob him and had fled after he fired his gun. Later, investigators discovered an “assault-style rifle” one of the four used to try and rob the pizza delivery driver.
