I'm becoming a student of his philosophies mostly because what he says makes so much sense and it's hopeful and positive. Anyone else reading this guy or have opinions as to the depth and validity of his philosophy?

Geez... I haven't heard that name since the 1980s. I had no idea he continued to write after Entropy.

Is he trying to coopt the Green New Deal ideas or is he really a fan?
It is an unfortunate human failing that a full pocketbook often groans more loudly than an empty stomach.

He very much pre-dates the green new deal (GND). The Third Industrial Revolution plan was adopted in Germany on/about 2000 and shortly after by the entire EU, the UN for the developing world, and by China. The GND is a kindergarden scribble with crayons by comparison.

I just think the guy has some well developed plans and ideas about where we are going and why we are going there. I find it refreshing to listen to a deep thinker and consider his concepts as opposed to the screaming, shouting and resistance to change we see currently. The guy seems rather brilliant to me.
