Maybe this should be under Frivolous Purchases that you WANT to make vs. ones you have made, but holy crap I want one of these:

I must be afflicted with pure consumerism at this point because there is 0 purpose in me owning one.

2Make yourself a little "gun I'll never use" rack and staple it to the boxspring under your mattress, buy one of these, and stick it in there. You can fondle it every night before you go to sleep.

5If I had a range that would permit more than shooting slugs through it, I'd definitely have the wood furniture version.

Re: Do Want
6I thought that was neat, until Kel-Tec came out with the KS7.
It's the slimmer sister of the KSG.
Length is 26.1", which is the same as all the Shockwave firearms, but it carries 6+1 3" shells, has an 18.5" barrel, sports a stock, yet weighs just under 6 lbs. All this for $495 MSRP.
The only negative is Kel-Tec's pitiful production capacity. It was announced at Shot Show in January 2019, which means my LGS will have it at normal price around 2021.

Glad that federal government is boring again.
Re: Do Want
7Those little shotguns seem cool because they are on TV and movies, maybe? In reality, they are very impractical and hard to shoot. I wanted one badly until I had a chance to actually use one. A 6" .357 Magnum makes a LOT more sense and is more shootable.
Now, that KelTec KS7? Ooooh la la!

9Agreed, they are definitely “in” right now. I try to emulate some of the better techniques I come across on YouTube, etc. for shooting birds head gripped short shotguns to moderate success. (Need more practice!).K9s wrote:Those little shotguns seem cool because they are on TV and movies, maybe? In reality, they are very impractical and hard to shoot. But I think there are practical applications for them especially in self defense/confined spaces.
The thing I really dig about that latest Remington product is the semi-auto nature of it. And as always because the design elements trigger my Star Wars fan boy sensibilities.
Like that Keltec too. I’ve wanted a KSG forever. Maybe they will come out with a bull pup semi?

12Yep. Too bad it is missing the Kel-lite gun light on top. That made this a real beauty...DamnYankee wrote: Sat Feb 02, 2019 8:51 amThat may be a face only a mother could love...Mustang wrote:Knock yourself out... 13I am probably wrong, but 12 GA (for me) just needs a stock. I guess I need to work on my upper body strength?

Re: Do Want
15I think I will wait for a sale on the KS7 myself. At some point, those will be under $400.
Of course, I really don't NEED any of them. The S2K is enough gun.
