A "faux" T1 red-dot would "lower" your HOB (height over bore) issue, fixing it and cost no more that the holo thing mounted on there.....
True-glo, Holosun or Bushnell or like this Primary Arms Micro dot, https://www.amazon.com/Primary-Arms-Mic ... ms+red+dot - shop around for the best price

Re: Red dot sight for shotgun
I just ordered this a couple of days ago. Normal price on Amazon $80-ish.

Red dot sight for shotgun
Surprisingly, with the vertical grip on the front I can break it open and eject the spent shells in about 2 seconds. (Practiced live fire and with snap caps quite a bit)Dreamsinger wrote:".....comence hunting down the undead!"
Zombie's travel in packs. You must have mad reloading skills to be using a break action single tube. I'll stick to my KSG.
I've got a shell pouch that goes on my left waist and since I've got big mitts I can grab and load two at a time with my support hand pretty quickly.
And yeah, thrusting the bayonet is much easier with that grip attached.
I like the fact that the break action coach gun can be taken down and placed in a backpack in a SHTF scenario and is simple to operate and can take a beating.
I've also practiced a left handed draw with my Glock 17 for a "can't reload in time " scenario.
It's like a poor mans semi - auto in the sense that with a single trigger activating both barrels I can let loose 2 quick blasts and either reload, thrust with the bayonet (since the weapon is short I've practiced thrusting the bayonet one-handed) or clean up with the 9mm.
I love using the PDX defender ammo in
It!

The good - this thing is accurate with slugs out at 25 yards
The bad- you get what you pay for
This POS red dot broke!
I'm going to replace it with something more sturdy.

Re: Red dot sight for shotgun
So the red dot was an epic fail - I am thinking of simply putting a ghost ring on the gun.johnmuir wrote:I went out to Richmond on Wednesdayshinzen wrote:Richmond- on the pistol range
