Looking for anyone who has busted clays with a red dot or hunted with a red-dot slug gun. What were/are your experiences?

I used my Burris Fastfire on my Stoeger for a bit. If I get a draw for an area where I can only hunt with a shotgun, I'll definitely put it back on. It also seemed to help a bit with my cross eye dominance issue, but I stole the dot for my MKIII and haven't gotten another one. Burris makes a specific adapter for some shotguns called the Speedbead to keep the dot really low to the barrel. It also helps with cheekweld not being as crucial. I might get another Fastfire or Vortex and toss it on at some point.

I was thinking of a receiver mounted pic red dot and a raised comb.

I've used one in 3gun for 100 yard slug shots, clays are OK but I would take it off if I was just shooting clays. I mounted a picatinny rail on my Stoeger and put a Sightmark Ultra Shot Plus which has a 50 MOA circle with a center dot.
