My Remington 870 20 gauge is my new best friend!!

Hey, I stuck a red dot sight on my Remington 870 Express 20 gauge, and look what I did! For me this is awesome, fourth time I've shot this gun, first time with the red dot; I'm a real beginner at shooting and I am freaking pumped! The first pic is from 25 yards sitting in a chair with my elbow propped on my knee, and I was adjusting the sight first left then up as you can see by the lines of holes. I'm so psyched about this shotgun I could dance around! I mean I'm a total novice, and if this thing shoots this well for someone like me I am pretty darned impressed. The second pic is from 50 yards. The 12 o'clock and 4 o'clock holes are from the bench rest before I switched to the chair and the rest are from my chair with my elbow propped, after I got the 25 yards adjusted. Woo HOO!! :yahoo: :bananadance:

Feelin’ pumped for your 870 pump-action shotgun. Yup, sounds about right. Lookin good!!!

Btw, d’ja notice how low the grouping was at 25yds vs 50? All bullets and projectiles travel in somewhat of an arc so it’s something to pay attention to as you get used to where your gun patterns for different loads and projectiles.

Oh, yes. The more you know...
