Yup, China's economy is everything to them and their goal is to overtake the US economically and to also become a super power militarily. China including it's capital Beijing have major pollution problems, including dust storms from the nearby Gobi Desert.YankeeTarheel wrote: Sat Mar 04, 2023 7:32 am There are myriad ways to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. While using NG and LP as bridge fuels replacing diesel and coal, of course, politics and profits mean that they simply replace coal and diesel, but that the bridge to totally NON-polluting energy generation WILL stall and be deliberately delayed. Meanwhile ALL the efforts by ALL the rest of the world will come to naught as China is rapidly outpacing the rest of the world---building more and more coal-fired power plants, enough to undo everyone else's efforts to go Green.
