Finally tricked out my Ruger MKIII

1
I went to the range yesterday and shot 100 rounds of CCI standard velocity at 15 yards, standing offhand. I'm not the best shooter but I'm pretty happy with the result. not one outside of the black!

I installed a Volquartsen accurizing kit. It brought the trigger pull down to 1lb 6oz for 3lb 3oz.
The magazine disconnect which has an added bonus of making it much easier to clean after installation as it replaces all the original springs and metal parts.
The Volthane Target Grips, very nice. I would prefer the laminated grips bit it was three times the price.
The Bushnell red dot I already had
I shoulda done it sooner :wall:

Was shooting my 4" 22/45 today....

Yes, it's a 22/45, says so on the receiver, but the lower is a Volquartsen so the grip angle matches my Mk IV. :)

Trigger pull is south of 2 lbs, and accuracy is very good. This is a 2" Christmas ornament shot (in season) at 25 yards - open sights, unrested. The $5 price tag is the cost of entry to the competition. :)
