I went a little nuts with 22LR when it came back around again. Not as crazy as four thousand rounds! Even more than that. LOL

I couldn't find it for years!

Being a reloader any gun that tickles my fancy regardless of caliber has a potential for me. The only reason I have a 30-30 in my house is because I found a bunch of range brass one time. Not enough but enough to justify buying a rifle. I then bought a bunch of new brass from Marlene to round it out. Since then I have found so much more that I have only opened one bag of the new brass, and that was to convert it to 32 win for my son inlaw. I guess I'm pretty well set, but I could make a major change with my handguns if the opportunity presented it self.

reloading definitely opens up new vistas for cartridges. i would be very reluctant to shoot cartridges that cost upwards of $2 each, but i can justify it by saying "i'm just accumulating brass, after i shoot these i'll reload them" which after i pay for dies, etc will bring the cost down to... $2. i was terribly disappointed to learn that bullets for .45acp, of which i have a shitload bunch, are not the same as those for 45-70. :( :oops2: luckily, surplus bullets for 308 work just fine for 30-06 and 30-40.
i'm retired. what's your excuse?

Me: 30.06, .45 acp, 7.62
OK. I'll bite.

Why? Did you sell the firearms?

I really love shooting 45 ACP, so it pains me to see that there are orphans in Texas.
