I've shot one as short as 8" and that was getting fairly ridiculous, but this takes the cake.

2If you can see the tip of the round from the side when chambered you have done it wrong.

3One more for the "just because you can" collection.
I would have been interested to see the target.....

5Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

7Any bets on the number of hands and fingers that will be lost?

8The operator could at least put on some Mechanix work gloves. SBR's run insanely hot.GeorgiaRN wrote:Any bets on the number of hands and fingers that will be lost?

Re: 2″ Barreled AR-15 SBR (No, Really)
9Two concerns:
-The aforementioned loss of digits. We had a guy on the Special Operations Response Team at the first prison where I worked who shot his index finger off with a Colt SMG with the 11" barrel. This looks like an accident waiting to happen.
-The action looks severely over-gassed. Picking up gas that close to the chamber cannot be a good thing...

10Even if you don't shoot your fingers off, it's got to smell like barbecue when shooting...
Also, would be interesting to see some chrono data. Can't be much velocity unless loaded with some fast powder and even then.

Re: 2″ Barreled AR-15 SBR (No, Really)
11It's interesting that I can't find any video of said SBR actually making contact with a target. Everything I've seen is shot from the same side-mounted perspective. Given the extreme lack of rifling on the "rifle", I'd venture it's pretty useless outside of 5 yards...the intended target probably receiving more injury powder burns than actual projectile damage.TheViking wrote:Even if you don't shoot your fingers off, it's got to smell like barbecue when shooting...
