A note about the VA Legislative Action Day with VCDL on Monday, January 20, 2020

Please note that the Liberal Gun Club is NOT participating formally in this day. If you wish to attend as individuals, stay aware of what is going on around you, bring a buddy, and follow basic safety rules - keep your head on a swivel, don’t poke any bears, and be careful who you proselytize to about the Club. Not everyone is friendly to our existence.

We will be having our own Lobby Day on January 24, 2020, and we encourage everyone to be involved in that.

I can't attend either, so I've been sending letters to various legislators. The moderate Democrat Senators currently sitting on the fence are: Creigh Deeds (my representative) , John Edwards, Chap Petersen, and Lynwood Lewis . Hopefully they'll listen to us. We just need two to kill the bill.

Here's the list of house members on the Public Safety Committee (Comité de salut public). These are the peeps passing and moving these bills to the Senate.

Oops wrong link. Here's the correct one.

There are rumblings the governor is going to declare lobby day a state emergency so that he can prevent all forms of carry. Keep an eye on that if you’re attending. Unfortunately, I can’t make either of the days.
