I can't tell you how many young people get themselves badly hurt when their first motorcycle has a 100 or more HP, weighs 400# and does 160mph, rather than learning on a 250 or 400cc twin.

Maybe you have convinced me? I just realized that my 22LR pistols are just not a fair comparison to my other pistols and I do like my 10/22. The reason 22LR issue came up with my FFL when he showed me a Colt 1911 22LR. It was really sweet and seemed like a good deal for $300 new.
My birthday is coming up, so I may go for it.
