Due to one of the last trolls, we had turned on manual approval for all new forum users, and had intended it to just be a couple of days for them to burn themselves out.
However, the admins, after trying it this way for a bit, decided we preferred it that way and will continue manually reviewing and approving new user requests, as we've also been able to cut out a bunch of wannabe spammers.
If you are reading this and have not had your account activated, you can fill out a contact request form on the main site and request that we re-review your user creation request.
That is all.
Re: New User Approval Process
2I have returned!! Skeptilius is back after a couple of years dealing with health issues. Looking forward to chatting with fellow members about issues of the day and how they affect the gun carrying community. Of course I live in Texas and a lot of people here carry. Hope everyone is well and we'll see how this goes.

3I"m "back" so to speak. For a month or two there I couldn't log on, maybe something to do with the changes or whatever. I hope you're doing well now, Skeptilius!

4Thanks Phaedrus, dealing with cancer has it's ups and downs. I turned 80 in May of this year. Can't quite get my head around being that old. Ha. Anyway, we struggle on as they say. Glad to be active with the forum again and I hope to make new friends here. Cheers.
