Funny. I have the same pair of custom molded ear plugs I got at the New York Motorcycle Show at the Javits Center in the beginning of 2003. I use them for swimming and riding. Haven't tried them for shooting.

why would you wear earplugs on a MC? wouldn't they impair your situational awareness?

Actually, they increase it, because the constant wind noise, at speed, especially on long rides, is mind-numbing, even with a helmet. Also the noise is loud enough to damage your hearing. What? What? Whadjasay?
