Hello to All from the Sierra Nevada
Hello from the Sierra Nevada in California !
I joined LGC back in October but am only now getting around to un-lurking.
I'm enjoying the gun talk without the, er, attitude of other groups.
Kind Regards,
PanamaYellow

The Sierra Nevada is a big place. I'm in the foothills in Butte County. Welcome. Where are you?

YankeeTarheel,
I tried to send this on the 24th, but the board engine swallowed it up:
44 degrees rain fog
Holiday eve lack of beach
Soon I’ll shoot again

YT, you are way to ornery to be living in the Bahamas!.. must’ve imported your own Joisey with you to imbibe on a regular basis to keep your sharp-edge. Can only imagine how you’d be if you woke up every morning to see the cold Hudson.
Oh,
Panama. Glad you found us.

We have a place here, on the beach, but most of the year I'm in Noo Joisey and we'll all be back there next week. Snow, wind, rain, and Noo Yawk close by.

Welcome PanamaYellow!

Re: Hello to All from the Sierra Nevada
Hello Max, and thank you for your welcome!
The P238 is my wife's pistol. She hasn't any background with shooting and finds this guy easy to handle, producing small shot groups for a rank beginner. She has small hands and is unable to rack any of the other pistols we have. I look at the P238 as a very high quality firearm that meets the expectations I bring from the Colt, Browning and CZ.
In short, we like it just fine, and are not unhappy about the cost of it.
I hope this helps...

Re: Hello to All from the Sierra Nevada
Thanks PanamaYellow - your comments on the P238 are much appreciated.
I was avoiding the mini 1911 format until I actually shot the DAO S&W Bodyguard. Now the P238 is looking a lot prettier.
